Volunteer at Lake Days

Dear Lake Days Volunteers,

Are you looking to raise money for your non-profit organization? Are you looking to have fun while raising money? Do you like rock music, fireworks, or eating carnival food? You can enjoy all this while working at Beaver Dam Lake Days.

Beaver Dam Lake Days at Tahoe Park, has been a staple in Beaver Dam for more than 20 years. Held the second weekend in July, it is a family festival that includes music, food, entertainment, rides and fireworks. It is a great opportunity to get together with old friends or to make new ones.

The Lake Days Steering Committee consists of 6 members and is always looking for help from non-profit organizations to donate their time in making this event a success. In return, we donate $10 per man-hour worked to your organization.

  • Example: 10 man-hours worked; $100.00 donated to your organization
  • 15 man-hours worked; $150.00 donated to your organization

Click on the button below to see the job descriptions for each area and the age requirements to work each area. This year's event takes place July 6-8, 2017.

We look forward to hearing from you in regards to working at this year's Lake Days Festival and helping us make this a fun event that so many people have come to know and enjoy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it cash only at the gate?

If I purchase a wrist band, can I leave and return later?

Yes. As long as your wrist band is still on your wrist, you can leave or reenter the park as often as you need. Great for families with small children. Each day will have a separate color, so you will not be able to use a wrist band more than one day.

Are lawn chairs allowed?

There are no seats. Lawn chairs are allowed. Use them for watching the Must-Skis, the fireworks and listening to the music.

Will there be more rides this year?

Yes. In addition to free rides (with cover charge) the amusement company will be adding more rides in the boat landing parking lot.

Will the Mustskis perform at Lake Days?

Yes, they will have a special show on Saturday.

In the past, there were gaps in the music. What about this year?

This year, Lake Days will run two stages, which allows one band to set up while the other is playing. Barring technical difficulties, this should give you continuous music throughout the festival.

When do the fireworks start?

Normally, fireworks start at 10:10 pm weather permitting on both Friday and Saturday night!

Is there a cover charge?

There is. BUT.... This year, we have partnered with the people who bring the carnival rides and Mad City Windows. This means the cover charge will be only $8 per day (for those five and older), and will give you unlimited carnival rides and full access to the music all day and evening long!
